April 2013 residential red zone evacuation deadline

Vaughan Smith made this Official Information request to Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority

The request was successful.

From: Vaughan Smith

Dear Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority,

How many people in the residential red zone will need to move into temporary accommodation in order to comply with the April 30 evacuation deadline?

We instructed our lawyer to formally request an extension. Roger Sutton responded saying the government has decided to not allow extensions. In order for the government to make that decision, they must know the answer to the question above.

Yours faithfully

Vaughan Smith
