Requesting copies of the "Fleet Safety Programme" and the "Operator Rating System" documents for 2018 for all bus operators

Hugh Davenport made this Official Information request to Wellington Regional Council

This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.

From: Hugh Davenport

Dear Wellington Regional Council,

I saw in the Bus partnering agreement (http://www.gw.govt.nz/assets/Transport/B...). Section 33.8 mentions a "Fleet Safety Programme", and a "Operator Rating System". Both of these require that the bus operator is required to provide GWRC copies of the reports and actions. For this reason, I believe that there is no possible way you can refuse this request as you have done repeatedly under s2 (6) of the LGOIMA.

I would like to request all documents for all bus operators for the year 2018. If the rating of the "Operator Rating System", the notification of that change and the full details of that change should fit in my scope. I would say my scope fits with 33.8.1, 33.8.2 (b), 33.8.2 (c), and 33.8.2 (d), and 33.9

Yours faithfully,

Hugh Davenport

Dear Wellington Regional Council,

This request can withdrawn. I had a meeting with Greg Pollock today, which has led me to believe that Metlink is acting upon improving safety, so I no longer require to gather this information.

Yours faithfully,

Hugh Davenport
