I reside in New Zealand and would like to request the following information.
(1) The total number of times a firearm has been directed towards an offender by Police.
(1,a) A breakdown of the ethnicity of offenders who have had a firearm directed towards them.
(2) The total number of times that a firearm has been discharged at an offender by Police.
(2,a) A breakdown of the ethnicity of offenders who have had a discharged towards them.
(3) The total number of times that a taser has been directed towards an offender by Police.
(3,a) A breakdown of the ethnicity of offenders who have had a taser directed towards them.
(4) The total number of times that a taser has been discharged at an offender by Police.
(4,a) A breakdown of the enthnicity of offenders who have had a taser discharged towards them.

Due to the delay and this being a regular occurrence from the police, as well as the acknowledgement response from the police implying that requests should be made through the police website rather than here being a breach of OIA legislation I have lodged a complaint with the ombudsman today.
