Information stored on AT HOP cards

Felix Lee made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Auckland Transport should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Felix Lee

Dear Auckland Transport,

I would like to make a LGOIMA request for information related to the AT HOP cards.

Could you kindly tell me:
- What information is stored on the card itself
- How exactly is the information stored on the card. Please give me all the information needed to turn the data on the card into human-readable format, eg the location where each piece of information is stored, the encoding scheme, the conversion tables, the decryption keys etc. If you can provide sample source code that would be even better.

I only require information on how to read the cards. I don't want information on how to write to or modify the cards. I would prefer to receive the information via email.

Thank you for your help

Yours faithfully,

Felix Lee
