I would like to request copies of all communication between members of EAG and insurers related to the Terms of Reference Phase 2 dated 01 November 2010, in furtherence of the "Particulars of Work" Number 2, "Obtaining consensus across the insurance sector on the technical objectives and recommended approaches;"
To be clear I am seeking any and all email discussions, notes of phone calls, minutes of meetings held, notes of private discussions held between the EAG and Insurance Providers or their agents.

On 14 July 2018 you made the following request under the Official
Information Act 1982 to the Earthquake Commission (EQC):
I would like copies of all communication between members of EAG and
insurers related to the Terms of Reference Phase 2 dated 1 November 2010,
in furtherance of the “Particulars of Work” Number 2 “Obtaining consensus
across the insurance sector on the technical objectives and recommended
approaches.
To be clear I am seeking any and all email discussions, notes or phone

On 27July 2018, EQC transferred your request to MBIE under section
14(b)(ii) of the Act.
This email is to notify you that MBIE is extending the timeframes under
section 15A(1)(b) of the Act, as consultations necessary to make a
decision on the request are such that a proper response to the request
cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
MBIE will now respond by, if not before, 21 September 2018.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review of MBIE’s decision
by the Ombudsman, in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act.
