Thank you for your email received 13 July 2018. Your request has been
referred to Legal Services for consideration under the provisions of the
Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (“the
LGOIMA”). 

 

Your request

 

“I would like to get under LGOIMA a copy of the minutes between FNDC and
SPCA Chief Inspectorate Greg Reid on the 19 June 2018.”

 

Our response

 

No meeting minutes were taken at the meeting you refer though in an effort
to provide some information to assist you with your request the meeting
did involve discussions around:

 

·         Compliance and cancellation of the section 130 notice

·         SPCA inspection, monitoring regime of the pounds

·         Collaborative working relationship between SPCA and FNDC

·         Improvements made to date with efforts placed on further
improvement

·         A memorandum of understanding between SPCA and FNDC to be
developed

·         SPCA shared expertise and advice, will continue to engage with
FNDC on a consultative basis

 

We hope this provides some clarity around what was discussed at the
meeting.

 

In accordance with the LGOIMA, as the meeting minutes requested do not
exist, we must therefore refuse your request pursuant to section 17(e) of
the LGOIMA.

 

Please note, pursuant to s 27 of the LGOIMA, you are entitled to seek a
