I refer to your official information request received 2 July 2018. Your
request has been referred to Legal Services for consideration under the
provisions of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act
1987 (“the LGOIMA”). 

 

Your request

 

Section 130/SPCA Notice

 

1.       “Please provide all internal and external correspondence, minutes
and reports relating to the S130 notice issued to Council in October 2017,
along with all such correspondence, minutes, and reports which refer to
the SPCA’s investigation of the Council’s pounds.

 

2.       Please include queries to outside and internal counsel on the
Council’s obligations/ rights/ potential legal liability in relation to
the S130.

 

3.       Please attach copies of formal notification to the Mayor and/or
Councillors of the SPCA’s investigation of the pound, and the issuing of
the S130.”
