Lost troop London bag
Nafeesa Hafeez made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport
The request was successful.
From: Nafeesa Hafeez
Dear Auckland Transport,
I travelled home on sunday the 21st of January on the 154 from the bus stop 5860 in Henderson. After 10 minutes I got off at the bus stop 5048 but as soon as I arrived home I realized that I had left my bag. I am aware that this next part may sway your decision to look into this but I feel I should be honest and give as much information as possible. I can't remember whether i left my bag at the bus stop or on the bus. After realizing I had left my bag I decided to bus back to Henderson to see if anything had appeared. The 154 I took back to Henderson was the same 154 I took to get home at 7pm. The bus also had the same bus driver and I asked her if she had seen anything or if anyone had handed anything in. She said no and I searched the bus. As soon as I got to Henderson I also searched the bus stop that I sat at. There was nothing there either. I have been making calls and have checked the mall and numerous locations inside and outside the mall. I have also called bus lines, reported this to the police and got in touch with the bus depot. However, I feel as though these things may not yield many results. So I am sincerely asking that you check the security cameras in the bus and also the security camera near the train station elevator. I know this is a lot to ask for a bag but things like my passport, medication, wallet and journal were in that bag. These things hold significance for me and I hate to think that I might never get them back. If you are unable to do this or I am unsuccessful with this request then I understand but I sincerely hope you consider my request as I believe this may be my only chance to retrieve my bag. I am a 17 year old who worked hard for the things I own and I absolutely cannot accept that they may be lost because to me they aren't just material items, they are parts of myself that I have attached to these objects. They hold memories and stories and my journal holds my inner thoughts. I know this sounds melodramatic, I am a teenager after all, but I just hope that this request is at least considered.
Yours faithfully,
N. R Hafeez
