Dear Mr Butler, please find below the response to your OIA2017.069 request
on Drury West Rail with supporting documents attached.

We refer to your request for the following information: correspondence and
internal notes regarding the location of Drury West Rail on Thursday 21
 December 2017.

This is not a decision that can be made by KiwiRail but one for the
Auckland City Council and Auckland Transport.

KiwiRail has provided advice on such things as gradient, land suitability
and the number of stations in relation to timetabling. We have attached
two documents which outline that advice.

Under s28(3) of the Act, you have the right to seek an investigation and
review of this response by way of complaint to the Ombudsman. Refer to
 [1]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz for more information.

Kind Regards
Helen Pickering
