Port Hills Fires Costs

Dear New Zealand Fire Service Commission,
The publically release costs to DOC and Selwyn District Council (as the Rural Fire Authorities) of the suppression of the Port Hills wildfires (2017) were in the order of $8 million.
The NZ Fire Service (as it was then) where extensively involved in the fires when they were in the rural area and of course when they crossed into he urban area. The NZFS would have incurred significant additional operation costs above specific to the Port Hills fires relating to additional wages, appliance and other vehicle costs, aircraft, contractors, retardant, etc.
Under the provisions of the Official Information Act I request details and records of the costs that the NZ Fire Service incurred that were directly attributable to the Port Hills wildfires.
