IPT - Decisions on Website Publication Time
Ryan S made this Official Information request to Ministry of Justice
The request was successful.
From: Ryan S
Dear Ministry of Justice,
I was just reviewing the IPT's website and noted that it appears that a lot of decisions for various different categories are not going up in a particularly timely manor. Some categories appear to be 6-8 months behind publication. Whilst i understand that information must be redacted from cases before publication it appears that the court is significantly behind and is not proving to be a useful up to date resource for those with immigration issues looking for guidance.
Therefore I would like to request the following information
1.How many IPT decisions that have been made but are yet to be published on the website
2. How many staff currently work on the publication of these decisions (Total number of staff)
3. Average or Approximate Publication Time for Decisions (Expected vs Actual if that is available)
4. Any official information regarding this issue and what is being done to address this.
Yours faithfully,
Ryan S
