Dear New Zealand Police
I am seeking information under the Official Information Act about the Police use of "information request forms".
In January 2017 it was reported in Stuff and other media that the IPCA found that the forms in use at the time were "unduly heavy handed". The Police response was that the forms would be revised.
- Please send me a copy of the form used until that point.
- Please send me a copy of the current form.
- Please send me a copy of any Police policy or handbook concerning the use of such forms.
- Please send me a copy of any statistics that NZ Police collect concerning the use of these forms.
I would prefer this material in electronic format.
