Dear Mr Collis
Further to my email of 14 September 2012 I am now able to advise that I
have obtained the Police file related to the incident you were involved in
at Palmerston North on 18 October 2005.
This file shows that you made a similar Official Information Request on 16
March 2009 & this information was supplied to your solicitor, Mark
Lillico. Please see the attachment to this message.
With respect to the incident at 'Go-Legal Ltd' on 18 October 2005 & your
request "to know if any compensation was offered to the building owner as
a result of the fire and investigation". Your request is refused pursuant
to Section 9(2)(a) of the Official Information Act 1982 ''to protect the
privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased natural persons."
I can advise you that a property was fire damaged in Palmerston North on
or about 2 February 1997 as a result of an Armed Offenders Squad (AOS)
incident. I am unable to provide any further information regarding that
incident pursuant to Section 18(e) of the Official Information Act 1982 as
"the document alleged to contain the information requested does not exist
or cannot be found."

Dear DOBSON, Nicholas (Nick),
After our telephone conversation & our meeting on 23/10/2012 You stated to me that on a OIA request that only black & white copies are released. You also told me that you would not release this information to me as I had previously requested this information & recieved it.
I would like to make the following points.
*The information that you have released on this request is in colour so you can release the Copies in colour.
*The file that i have recieved in the past was only a black & white copie of the file & the reasons i am requesting a colour copie of the file is that the colour sean photos will show & prove the mistreatment that i recieve by the Palmerston North AOS squad.
or am i lead to believe that this information has gone missing to protect them.
Yours sincerely,
Glenn Collis
