Iola Haggarty made this Official Information request to Palmerston North City Council

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Iola Haggarty to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Iola Haggarty

Dear Palmerston North City Council,

I am requesting information about any commercial interests in the proposed Manawatu Pedestrian Cycle Bridge at Ruha Street, Dittmer Drive, Palmerston North as per Resource Consent Application by Tonkin and Taylor on behalf of PNCC dated 02/11/2016
What commercial companies are or will be involved in the provision of utilities of electricity or communications ,or other services specifically the companies; Powerco Limited reg number: 1021162 and Downer reg number 1287411? agreed to pay any fee for use of such bridge either at the commencement of construction of afterwards.
What is the fee agreed if any, that they will/may pay Palmerston North City Council and when will the Public be formally informed of these commercial interests?

Can you also please advise why no information concerning any commercial or potential commercial activity such as use of above bridge for commercial interests has being included in the Resource Consent Application dated 02/11/2016 by Palmerston North City Council's agent Tonkin and Taylor?

Can Palmerston North City Council outline when and where meetings with commercial interests took place in respect to private entities having use of a future Manawatu Cycle Pedestrian Bridge at the end of Ruha Street, Dittmer Drive Palmerston North?

Yours faithfully,

Iola Haggarty

Dear PN City Council,

Thank you for your reply by snail mail to my request of the Commercial Private Companies involvement in the planning and siting of the proposed Manawatu Cycle/Pedestrian Bridge. Which you took the maximum time to fulfil your obligations and then compounded it by sending it in the post to further delay my receipt of an answer.
My expectation was that you would also post the information to this site for everyone with an interest to see, so it is with some concern that see you have not. I request that you do so.

Yours sincerely,

Iola Haggarty
