Dear Mr Cranston

On 29 November 2016 you emailed the Ministry requesting, under the
Official Information Act 1982, the following information:

·         all documentation, electronic records and correspondence between
the Ministry and Lynley Reid Ltd covering the period 1 January 2013 to
present.

 

The Ministry has decided to grant your request in part, namely you will be
provided with all documentation, electronic records and correspondence but
some information will be withheld from the documents under the following
sections of the Official Information Act:

 

·         the names of some individuals will be withheld under section
9(2)(a) of the Act in order to protect the privacy of natural persons. The
need to protect the privacy of these individuals outweighs any public
interest in this information.

 

·         A small amount of information will be withheld, from the
documents, under section 6(c) of the Official Information Act where making
that information available would be likely to prejudice the maintenance of
the law, including the prevention, investigation and detection of
offences.

 

It will take some time to prepare this information for release. The
information will be sent to you around 23 March 2017.
