ATAP Individual Projects Costs

Harriet Gale made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency

The request was successful.

From: Harriet Gale

Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

Hope your day is going well.

Would it please be possible to be provided the costings, understand they will be estimates for the individual projects, I believe they were called interventions that were in the Indicative Package for the ATAP Final Report, could this also please include a breakdown of the costs for the Rail Development Plan as well.

So for example.

1. Third Track to Papakura $$$
2. Fourth Track to Papakura $$$
3. Train tranche Set 1 $$$
4. SH1 Widening Papakura - Drury South $$$

etc.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding my request, and sorry about the pedanticness of the request format.

Yours faithfully,

Harriet Gale

Hi Harriet

Transfer of request made under the Official Information Act 1982

This letter is to advise you that the NZ Transport Agency is transferring
part of your request to Auckland Transport.

Questions 1, 2 and 3 of your request are more closely connected with the
functions of Auckland Transport. Accordingly, we are transferring this
part of your request under section 14 of the Official Information Act
1982.

You will therefore receive further correspondence on your request from
Auckland Transport. The time limit for their response to you will be 20
working days from the date they receive our advice of the transfer.

We are, however, going to process Question number 4 regarding SH1 Widening
Papakura – Drury south. You can expect a response to that question by 27
October 2016 at the latest.

Yours sincerely

Dear Cedric Horner,

Just clarifying as think there maybe some confusion, they were examples of the set out that it would be great to have the reply, my actual request was for the cost of each intervention of the final ATAP package this includes but is not limited to the examples above.

Just checking that the costings of all except those AT is best to answer I don't mind you forwarding them on, will be part of the reply not just SH1 Pakakura-Drury South?

Happy to explain further

Yours sincerely,

Harriet Gale

Sorry it's just unclear at the moment, apologies for the inconvenience

Hi Harriet

We didn’t actually transfer any of the request to AT in the end. They will just provide us with the information to respond to you. So you'll get everything from NZTA.

Dear Cedric Horner,

Just following up on this ATAP has $38,600.00 million of CAPEX however the projects returned here have a CAPEX cost of $23,738.70 million.

Is there a reason for the difference such as additional types of cost, or interventions being missed as I did include "Any other minor interventions not mentioned above that were part of the Final ATAP Package."?

Yours sincerely,

Harriet Gale
