Dear Auckland Council,
Kia ora,
I am writing to request information under the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 regarding your statement:

“Following our assessment, we can confirm that the over-deck structure
(semi-pergola) contributes to the impermeable coverage at my property.”

I would like to understand how this determination was made.
Specifically, please provide:

Methodology:

The methodology or process used to assess that the semi-pergola
contributes to impermeable coverage
Whether this assessment was based on:

a standard rule or assumption, or
a site-specific evaluation

Criteria Used:
The criteria, definitions, or rules applied in making this determination
Any relevant Auckland Unitary Plan provisions or council guidelines relied
upon

Assessment Details:

What site information was considered (e.g. plans, visual inspection, GIS
data, etc.)
Whether stormwater flow or drainage pathways were considered in the
assessment
If not, please confirm that this was not part of the methodology

Supporting Records:

Any internal notes, calculations, or documents showing how this conclusion
was reached
