Please provide I, II, III and IV from A-F workshops each:
(i) All presentations (slides) provided to the councillors
(II) Minutes recorded or any notes about the items including questionnaires from & answers to councillors
(III) Recordings video and/or audio recordings
(IV) Transcripts
I am doing research on local government governance and considering the headlines surrounding Clr Ong I am becoming interested on both the content and why exactly these workshops are closed to the public.
The matters also pertain to local government procurement and costings research & analysis.

(a) Company Briefing | Aurora Energy
The workshop was confidential for commercial sensitivity. The workshop
information is still commercially sensitive and your request is declined
pursuant to section 7(2)(b)(ii) of LGOIMA would be likely unreasonably to
prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied or who is the
subject of the information.
(b) Coastal Plan
The workshop was held in non-public to prevent material loss. The
workshop information is still confidential and therefore you request for
this information is declined pursuant to section 7(2)(e) of LGOIMA to
avoid prejudice to measures that prevent or mitigate material loss to
members of the public
Kettle Park
The workshop was held in non-public to prevent material loss. However,
this information is now publicly available. Please find attached a copy
of the power point presentation.

(c) South Dunedin Futures
This work shop was held in non-public pursuant to
7 (2) (d) avoid prejudice to measures protecting the health or safety of
members of the public
7 (2) (e) avoid prejudice to measures that prevent or mitigate material
loss to members of the public
17 (d) the information requested [in the workshop] is or will soon be
publicly available.
This information is now publicly available and can be found via the link

for the meeting to be held on 25 June 2026.

(d) Waste Matters
This was held in non-public due to commercial sensitivity. This
information is still commercial sensitive, therefore your request for this
information is declined pursuant to section 7(2)(h) to enable any local
authority holding the information to carry out, without prejudice or
disadvantage, commercial activities.

(e) Budget Considerations
This workshop was held in non-public as the information would be made
public during the 10 year plan consultation. Therefore your request is
declined to 17(d) of LGOIMA is declined as the information will soon be
made publicly available.
On 11 February 2026
(f) Simplifying Local Government
This workshop was in non-public to allow the Council to carry on without
prejudice or disadvantage negotiations. An update on the issue is being
provided at the Council meeting on 25 June 2026 and can be found via the
