Speed Cameras operating from private property.

Geoff Thomas made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Geoff Thomas to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Geoff Thomas

Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,

Are mobile cameras allowed to operate on private property? (Private property being any property not owned by the crown.)
Do you require the landowner's permission to operate from the property, and if so is this recorded as part of an approval process?
Is the permission required every time the property is or can approval be granted for a fixed time frame.
If there are any private properties approved for Mobile cameras to operate from can you please list the total number of sites broken down by region.

Yours faithfully,

Geoff Thomas

From: Geoff Thomas

Dear Official Correspondence,

Council owned land and reserves would require approval from the council and their RCA, so this could be excluded.

Yours sincerely,

Geoff Thomas
