This is a request on behalf of the community at Goodman, Ledger, Kingstan, Marion Place and McCarty St in Motueka.
The Goodman-Ledger Park pump station handles 80% of the town's waste. What other pump stations is it connected to? Furthermore, which pump stations in the Tasman Area are not connected to the pump station?
The Motueka community is concerned with health risks from harmful gases, rank odour, and contamination from overflowing waste from the pumping station that have been observed over the past 15 years.
We are formally requesting full details as to the pumping station's workings in the area.
