I request the following please.

1. Does the council employ park rangers, who are responsible for or patrol certain areas' ?

If so:

2. What assets do they cover? local parks, forests, etc?

3. How many staff are employed?

4. Do they have a roster system that covers 7 days a week or on call?

5. Are any trained in fire fighting? if so how many?

6. Does the council have any "live in" park rangers, i.e. on the site of a park/forest?

Thank you for your request for information, received at Council yesterday.
The Service request number assigned to your request is 2611954.

 

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as reasonably
practicable and in any event no later than 4 May 2026, being 20 working

public and provincial holidays and the period between 20 December to 10
January inclusive.  If we are unable to respond to your request by then,
