In the STATEMENT OF FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE contained in the document "Te Kopuru - Further Explanations" given to the village ratepayers at your public meeting April 14, under "Activity Costs", included in "Total Operating Expenditure excl' Depreciation", is a line item:
H2032702. "PH Risk Mgment / AMP's" - $38,091 against f.y.e.2009.
May the ratepayers of the Te Kopuru Target Sewage Rate be advised of the exact nature of this expenditure item, and how it related to the operation and management of the TK-WWTP Asset specifically?
(You will note that this expenditure line item constitutes 54% of the Target Rate Revenue in that year. Your / Our helpful Financial Services Manager, with whom we kindly met earlier this month, was I believe intending to look into the matter, and hopefully has now reported to you.)

Hello Charles
Thank you for your email requesting information relating to the Te Kopuru
Sewage costs under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings
Act 1987.
I have looked through Council’s historic records and I have managed to
locate three documents relating to the general ledger code H2032702. This
was the cost centre at the time for work undertaken by Council’s
Consulting Engineers, Duffill, Watts and King Limited (DWK).
Attached are three extracts from DWK’s monthly statements (April, May and
June 2009). The code H2032702 is highlighted in orange and relates solely
to the Te Kopuru Wastewater Resource Consent renewal. The Te Kopuru
Wastewater Resource Consent was renewed during the 2009 year. Duffill,
Watts and King (who later became CPG Limited), managed this process along
with any required reporting and monitoring of the Te Kopuru Wastewater
Scheme.
You will note there is a running total and that the final document shows
the balance as $38,090.72.
