Official Information Act 1982 Request

I am writing to request information under the Official Information Act 1982 relating to the wharf upgrade project currently underway at the wellington ferry terminal.

Given the observed length and frequency of working hours on this project, including what appears to be work occurring seven days per week, I am concerned about worker health, safety, and fatigue management.

I request the following information, including information held by KiwiRail or held on behalf of KiwiRail by any contractor or subcontractor engaged on this project:

Copies of all Health and Safety Management Plans applicable to this project.

Details of the approved working days and hours for the project, including whether work is scheduled or authorised to occur seven days per week.

All policies, procedures, or contractual requirements relating to fatigue management and worker wellbeing for this project.

Documentation showing how KiwiRail monitors and enforces contractor compliance with health and safety obligations.

The number of reported workplace incidents, near misses, notifiable events, or notifications made to WorkSafe New Zealand relating to this project to date.

Any audit reports, site inspections, risk assessments, or compliance reviews relating to health, safety, and worker wellbeing for this project.
