Dear Whangarei District Council,

I am requesting the following information about the decision made by council to close Whangarei library on Sundays from 1 March 2026:

A copy of the weekly staffing roster broken down into days of the week, showing required staffing hours for the current 7-day a week roster that operates up until 1 March 2026 at Whangarei Library.

and

A copy of the proposed weekly staffing roster broken down into days of the week showing the increased required staffing hours for a 7-day a week operation at Whangarei Library that was ultimately considered unaffordable.

and

A copy of the weekly staffing roster broken down into days of the week, showing required staffing hours for the 6-day a week roster that operates from 1 March 2026 at Whangarei Library.

All information is required at a facility level with consolidated/anonymised roles. Clearly, I do not (and should not) want to see the details of named staff members who fill these resourced rosters.
