I refer to your request of Dennis Asgard for Information about “Library
Sunday Closure”. Your request was referred to council’s Library Manager
for consideration to the following questions:

 

o A copy of the weekly staffing roster broken down into days of the
week, showing required staffing hours for the current 7-day a week
roster that operates up until 1 March 2026 at Whangarei Library.

 

o A copy of the proposed weekly staffing roster broken down into days of
the week showing the increased required staffing hours for a 7-day a
week operation at Whangarei Library that was considered unaffordable.

 

o A copy of the weekly staffing roster broken down into days of the
week, showing required staffing hours for the 6-day a week roster that
operates from 1 March 2026 at Whangarei Library.

 

Please review the attached documents supplied by Councils Library Manager
in response to your request.
