I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your official information request
dated 8 January 2026, for information on Hutt City pools revenue and
expenses.

 

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 20 working days from the date it was received. Based on this
timeframe, you can expect a response by 9 February 2026. This timeframe
takes into account the LGOIMA summer holiday period, which runs from 20
December 2025 to 10 January 2026. If we are unable to respond by that
date, we will notify you of an extension.

Dear Hutt City Council,

 

Further to the report in The Post dated 8 January 2026 about Hutt City
pools, please supply the following information.  In all cases, please
break down both revenues and expenses so that the component parts are
visible - eg entry revenues, wages, maintenance, depreciation, finance
costs.

 

1) a breakdown, pool by pool, of operating revenue and expenses for the
year ended 30 June 2025.

 

2) as for 1) but year to date figures, pool by pool, for the period since
1 July 2025.

 

3) as for 1), but projected full year (to 30 June 2026) revenue and
expenses for each pool.

 

I note that figures, pool by pool, were publicly available in historic
council reports.
