SH1 Auckland Cameras
Emilia Sharp made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Emilia Sharp to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Emilia Sharp
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
I've noticed a lot of cameras along SH1 in Auckland as well as some in Tauranga that are mounted atop tall poles and on gantries, along frequented routes such as SH1. These cameras are sometimes accompanied by an NZTA public highway camera which seems to be mounted to the side of the primary camera at the top of each pole. Are you responsible for these cameras, and if so, what are they for? They do not appear in your average speed camera documentation for trial or in use cameras as far as I am aware.
Yours faithfully,
Emilia Sharp
