communications re NZDSOS letters from 2022

A Goodwin made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for A Goodwin to read recent responses and update the status.

From: A Goodwin

Dear New Zealand Police,

1) Please provide all correspondence, reports, memos, letters, notes, advice and emails since 2022 amongst Police and between it and all government agencies and officials regarding NZDSOS's legal letter to Commissioner Coster on 2 Jun 2022 and subsequent legal response to Mr Peoples on 18 Jul 2022.

2) Please can you advise whether the OIA request at paragraph 10 of the 18 Jul 2022 letter was responded to, and if so, provide a copy of the response.

These letters relate to the deaths of young New Zealanders shortly after covid vaccination and requested investigation, including into the activities of Medsafe as pharmacovigilance experts. I am wanting to understand why a legal letter from a group of registered doctors, concerning a number of suspicious deaths, was dismissed without any investigation.
I am a New Zealand citizen.

Regards,
A Goodwin

Kia ora A Goodwin

I apologise for the lateness of the response to your OIA. A response is still being drafted and it will then progress through our internal consultation process. As Police are currently experiencing a high volume of requests, I am unable to confirm a release date at this stage, but I can assure you we are endeavouring to get this to you as soon as practicable. You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this delay. Information about how to make a complaint is available at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.
