Kia ora Kāpiti Coast District Council,
Under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, I am requesting a full copy of the Council’s response to the OIA request reference 2526/166, dated around 19 October 2025, relating to future travel costs for KCDC executive staff.
Specifically, I request:
A PDF copy of the full response issued by Mark de Haast, Group Manager Corporate Services.
Any covering letters or emails sent with the response.
Any internal decision-making notes or LGOIMA processing documents relevant to the decision to withhold information on the grounds that it was “not in the public interest”.
If sections of the response are withheld, please state the exact grounds relied upon under LGOIMA, including the applicable section numbers.
Please provide this information via FYI.org.nz in electronic form.

response to official information request 2526-166. Your request will be
managed under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act
1987 (LGOIMA) (the Act).
