Storage of Claimants Clinical Records

Paul White made this Official Information request to Accident Compensation Corporation

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Paul White to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Paul White

Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,

I understand a claimant in EOS has a party file as well as claim files for a particiular event, neither of these files hold the claimants clinical records.

The information I request relates to when ACC make an electronic request for clinical records to a claimants GP or treatment provider and the provider provides the information electronically;

- where are these clinical records stored?
- are they given a file reference?
- when requesting a file copy (claim file) and party file are ACC required to release the clinical records as well?

Yours faithfully,

Paul White
