6. What are the restrictions related to food trucks for the Diwali event? How are these restrictions decided? Has the Council received feedback about the discriminatory nature of these restrictions? How does it respond to such feedback or complaints? If there have been complaints raised, how has the Council addressed them?

We provided you with a response to question 1-2 and 4-14 on 1 October 2025
but required an extension of time to collate the information for question
3.
Our response
The information requested is attached.
Decision to withhold some information requested:
We have withheld a report. The section/s relied on to withhold the
information refers to the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA).
Privacy – names, cell phone numbers and health information of individuals
We have withheld names, cell phone numbers and health information about
individuals in accordance with section 7(2)(a) of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA). Section 7(2)(a) of
the LGOIMA provides that there is a good reason for withholding official
information when the withholding of information is necessary to protect
the privacy of natural persons. The release of this information would
disclose the names, cell phone numbers and health information of
individuals which is their private affairs. We have considered the public
interest in releasing this information, however we consider the privacy of
individuals outweighs the public interest in this instance.
Third party commercial – pricing and quotes from third-party suppliers
We have withheld pricing and quotes of third-party suppliers under section
7(2)(b)(ii) of the LGOIMA. Section 7(2)(b)(ii) of the LGOIMA provides that
there is a good reason for withholding official information when the
withholding of information is necessary to protect information where the
making available of the information would be likely to unreasonably
prejudice the commercial position of the person who supplied it or who is
the subject of the information. The information would disclose
quotes/estimates and pricing information of third-party suppliers which is
not publicly available. We have considered the public interest in this
decision and consider it does not outweigh the commercial prejudice to
these suppliers if released.
We have also withheld a link which is outside the scope of your request
and noted in the attached information.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
