We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible, and no
later than 23/09/2025, being 20 working days after the day your request
was received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will

On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, I

which you requested the following information under the Official
Information Act 1982:

“I am particularly interested in any material taken to Cabinet following
the decisions on 12 August 2024. For example, did Cabinet change any of
these decisions? Did Cabinet authorise the introduction of the Gene
