Can you please advise of ALL code of conduct complaints raised against
sitting councillors or the mayor and the outcome of such complaints
between 2022 and the present. In doing so, can you provide details of the
nature of the complaint and the outcome. If the details are 'in
confidence', then please confirm the existence of such a complaint and
whether it was upheld.

the complaints and outcome.

 

 

Number of complaints (Oct 22 – Outcome
August 25)
3 + 1 complaint was not progressed further
by the complainant after lodging
+ 2 complaints were determined to be low
level breaches but not material.

 

 

The complainants themselves and the details of the complaints are
confidential. Therefore, under section 7(2)(a) of the LGOIMA they are
withheld to protect the privacy of natural persons.  You have the right to
make a complaint to the Ombudsman about Council’s decision to withhold the
complainants and details of the complaints.
