Good afternoon

I am getting in touch re your OIA request below asking for "all records of Operating Irregularities and Incidents involving Train Control and their investigative outcomes including corrective measures taken from 16 July 2023 to 16 July 2025".

Please be advised, we have started scoping out your request and have identified 41 incidents that fall within the scope of your request and timeframe.
I have asked the subject matter experts to compile all records for one of these incidents to see roughly how long it would take to process your request, and for one record it has taken approximately 5 hours of their time.

Accordingly, as it stands your request will be too large to process.
Is there a particular interest behind the request that might enable refinement?

Happy to discuss if you'd like to give me a call on the number below.

Kind regards

Dave
