Subject: Official Information request - Closest branch appointments

Dear Ministry of Social Development,

Is there a rule / guideline or law stating that clients can only attend their closest branch to be seen by case managers when needing assistance from MSD?

ie, If Clients don't feel comfortable for specific reasons, I then call the Call center and request to have an appointment at another branch, are they legally allowed to tell me I have to go to my local branch?

Are MSD clients able to request to be allocated to another local branch?
