 1. Advise a timeframe for your request. i.e. is it for say the last 12
months (March 2024 to March 2025)
 2. We will be able to provide how much roundup or other glyphosate
product is used by council annually (we may not be able to provide how
much was purchased annually as our suppliers could bulk purchase and
not use all their product for council purposes, how much was sprayed
is a more accurate reflection of usage). Can you confirm that this
information will satisfy your request.

 

We have attached an information sheet on our processes and requirements
under the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.

 

We will respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event no
later than 20 working days after the day your request was received. This
will be by 20 May 2025.

I would like to let you know that we are requiring more time to respond to
your request. I’m sorry that we will not be able to provide you with the
information by 20 May 2025

 

Auckland Council is extending the time limit for responding to your
request under section 14 of the Local Government Official Information and
Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA). We will reply to your request by 20 June 2025
.. Please note this is a maximum response time and we will endeavour to
respond sooner.

 

The reason for this extension is:

 

- The request is for a large quantity of official information or
necessitates a search through a large quantity of information and meeting
the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the operations
of the local authority
