Dear Housing New Zealand Corporation,

I am interested in the treatments of HNZC tenants who are discovered with cannabis on the property.

In the most recent year for which figures are available:

1. How many tenants were found with cannabis on the property?
2. What percentage of those found with cannabis on the property were evicted due to the cannabis?

Dear Mr Soar

Thank you for your email received on 9 July 2015 requesting the following information under the Official Information Act 1982:

· In the most recent year for which figures are available:

1. How many tenants were found with cannabis on the property?
2. What percentage of those found with cannabis on the property were evicted due to the cannabis

You can expect to be notified of the decision on your request by 7 August 2015, being 20 working days after the day on which the request was received in accordance with section 15(1) of the Act. If an extension of time is required to make a decision you will be notified prior to 7 August 2015 in accordance with section 15A of the Act.

We may also contact you if further clarification or refinement of your request is required to enable a decision to be made.
