We refer to your request made via the FYI website for the following
information:

 

 1. A copy of the DCE Service Delivery Design's Outlook Calendar for the
week 6-10 November 2023.
 2. Any electronic communication (email, texts, Whatsapp messages) between
the DCE Service Delivery Design and her Executive Assistant, and her
SDD Leadership Team as to her whereabouts for the week 6 - 10 November
2023.
 3. Any electronic communication (email, texts, Whatsapp messages) between
the DCE Service Delivery Design's Executive Assistant and the SDD
Leadership Team as to the DCE Service Delivery Design's whereabouts
for the week 6 - 10 November 2023.
 4. Details of any travel undertaken by air or by car for the week 6 - 10
November 2023, And if any travel was undertaken what was the purpose
of the travel?

 

 5. Please supply a copy of the DCE Service Delivery Design's Outlook
calendar for the week 11 - 15 March 2024.
 6. Copies of any texts, WhatsApp messages, or emails regarding a visit to
the Central Rail loop in Auckland.
 7. Please supply details of any travel arrangements that were made to
travel to Auckland for the Central Rail Loop visit, was the travel
booked in accordance with FENZ travel policy, and if the travel had to
be cancelled what was the cost of the cancellation.
 8. Please supply details of the appointment clash that caused the DCE
Service Delivery Design to cancel her visit to the Central Rail loop,
and details of when this clash became known.
 9. Details of how the DCE Service Delivery Design traveled to Palmerston
North for an appointment on the 14th March 2024.
10. What was the cost of that travel, and was it booked in accordance with
FENZ travel policy?

 

Section 12 of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) provides that
requests may only be made by:

·         a person who is in New Zealand 

·         a body corporate that is either incorporated in New Zealand; or

We refer to your recent request of 24 June 2024, to Fire and Emergency New
Zealand. In an email of 25 June 2024, we wrote to you asking for you to
provide evidence that you meet the eligibility requirements as outlined in
section 12 of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA). To-date, we have
not received your evidence.

 

As outlined in the OIA, eligibility to request information requires that
the requester be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, a person in
New Zealand, or a corporate entity incorporated in New Zealand or with a
place of business here.

 

Unfortunately, you have declined to provide the evidence necessary to
establish your eligibility under these criteria. To consider your request
further, we kindly request that you provide the required evidence of
eligibility. Once this information is received, we will reassess your
request in accordance with the OIA.

give them information so they can check you meet the eligibility
