Dear requester,
I refer to your request of 20 June 2024. As consultations necessary to
make a decision on your request are such that a response cannot reasonably
be given within the original time limit, the University has extended the
time limit for your request under section 15A(1)(b) of the OIA. The new
maximum time limit for the University’s response is 29 July 2024; we will
respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable. You have the
right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are dissatisfied with
this extension.
Yours sincerely,

1. The selection processes for such 2024 RAs.”
The selection process is for 2024 Residential advisors is the standard
University of Auckland recruitment process (at set out in the University’s
Recruitment, Selection and Appointment Policy at
[1]https://www.auckland.ac.nz/en/about-us/a...).
2. The emergency guidebook for 2024 RAs.
There is no “emergency guidebook” for 2024 RAs. We have interpreted your
request as instead seeking the Emergency Management Procedures set out in
the University’s RA Handbook. This information is attached, subject to the
following:
o the information set out in the RA Handbook relating to bomb threats,
suspicious mail, and explosions is withheld under section 9(2)(c) of
the OIA, to avoid prejudice to measures protecting the safety of the
public.
3. The proportion of RAs doing each degree (exclude majors)."
The customised statistics requested are not held by the University. Your
request for this information is refused under section 18(g) of the OIA.
You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.
Yours sincerely,
