Dear Kaipara District Council,

Please provide copies of any decision documents that were used when
deciding to allocate the tender of the Parks and Reserve Contracts for the
KDC, when the Contract was last up for renewal. (I think it was around Aug
2022?)
Including any ratings / weighting given to different stages of the
proposal.
When the contract is up for renewal.
And under what conditions the contract would be able to be put up for
re-negotiations earlier.

Further to your request for information please find attached the Council
decision from the meeting minutes in relation to the awarding of the Parks
and Open Spaces, Operations and Maintenance Contract.  The date of
commencement for the contract was 1 November 2022 and the date of expiry
for the Separable Portion 1, is 30 June 2025.

 

Also attached is the Tender Response Form used for rating.

 

In order for the contract to come up for re-negotiations earlier, there
could be a number of reasons.  A contract review could be initiated
through a staff or Elected Member recommendation with any decisions being
made by the full Council.
