We refer to your Official Information Act request of 23 May 2024 which we inadvertently 
missed. 
Please advise how many referrals were made to the Director of Human Rights Proceedings in 
relation to each financial year since 2019/20. (Previous years are shown in the annual reports.) 
 
I realise that the figures for 2023/24 wil  not capture the complete financial year. 
 
For the period fol owing the commencement of the Privacy Act 2020 (from 1 December 2020) would 
you please indicate under which sections of the Act the various referrals were made.

Following the commencement of the Privacy 2020, sections of the Act under which 
the various referrals were made: 
One referral was made under s94(4)(a); the other under s78.
