List of internal rules

Anon made this Official Information request to Accident Compensation Corporation

The request was partially successful.

From: Anon

Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,

This is also a request for the complete list of ACC's internal rules. If ACC has a web page that lists the internal rules, and has links to these documents, then please provide me with the web address.

When I used ACC's search engine, I could not find a dedicated web page to the list of ACC's internal rules.

When I went to ACC's "Resources" page, I looked under each of the categories available: Corporate documents, contracts, research, health providers, and Business and levies.

Internal rules, policies and processes should come under "Corporate documents", as should "OIA requests"; however, rules, policies, processes and OIA requests are not listed as subcategories. It would be very helpful if ACC were to include dedicated pages to rules, policies and processes, with the lists of those documents, and links to the actual document. This would allow your team to focus on more complicated tasks that require research and compiling data.

Thanks,
An

Dear Government Services,

Thank you for the list, but I noticed it is incomplete. For example, the Timeframes to Determine Cover Policy v19.0 (updated in July 2023), included the business rule "Decision table - Identifying or extending the cover decision timeframe". This rule was not in the list.

Please provide a complete list.
Thanks.

Please refer to line 173 of the list provided to you. The rule which was
labelled 'Decision table - Identifying or extending the cover decision
timeframe,' has now been re-labelled as 'Identifying the maximum cover
decision timeframe allowed.'

As we have a large number of policies and rules, it can take some time for
all references to them to be updated when changes are made.
