Kia ora Anon,

Thank you for your request of 28 January 2024, asking for information
about radiologists under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act).

ACC has never employed radiologists

While ACC occasionally seeks a clinical opinion from external
radiologists, we have not sought an opinion from a ‘neuro-radiologist’.
Therefore, we are refusing the requested list of contracted
neuro-radiologists as it does not exist. This decision is made under
section 18(e) of the Act.

If you are not happy with this response you can contact the Ombudsman via
[1][email address] or by phoning 0800 802 602. Information
about how to make a complaint is available at
[2]www.ombudsman.parliament.nz.

is really necessary. Thank you.

To let you know.
My own ACC claim involved them seeking the external opinion of a 'neuro radiologist', which was successful.
So them stating that no opinions have been sought specifically for a neuro-radiologist is incorrect.
