Traffic signal violation statistics

Dear New Zealand Police,

With the introduction of a red-light cameras in Auckland and Wellington, the media release from NZ Police (source: http://www.scoop.co.nz/stories/AK1504/S0...) indicated that the cameras will only enforce section 3.2(5) of Land Transport (Road User) Rule 2004 (source: http://www.legislation.govt.nz/regulatio...).

What information about traffic signal violations is known about the 3 locations of the red-light cameras? Please provide statistics collected at the sites including the location, time/date of data collection, traffic volumes, observed violations of S3.2(1), observed violations of S3.2(4), and observed violations of S3.2(5).

If statistical information has not been collected, please provide the evidential data that was used to select the locations of the red-light cameras.

undertaken by the New Zealand Transport Agency, therefore I am
transferring your request to the NZTA pursuant to section 14 of the
Official Information Act 1982.

 

Information relating to the number of red-light infringement notices
issued by Police is published on the Police website at

The information is updated quarterly with a further update due in the next
few weeks.

 

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Official Information Act

Good response, but I can't see anywhere they identify the timeframe of the crash & injury statistics. It must be 4 or more years given the comment about Lambie Drive.
