- The names of all organizations that fall under the Residents'
Associations Formation and Recognition Policy (2001) within CCC's
jurisdictions as of 29th April 2024.

- The active or inactive status where possible of these organizations.

- A list of former Resident's Associations that have been registered that
have in past operated in the Papanui and Innes Wards.

- The most up to date map that reflects this data.

Regarding your request for former Resident's Associations that have been
registered that have in past operated in the Papanui and Innes Wards.
Staff can confirm that to the best of their knowledge, the resident’s
association information listed above as falling in the Waipapa Community
Board are the only resident’s associations that have been listed with the
Waipapa Papanui-Innes-Central ward since the ward was formed in 2022. All
of these are currently active.

 

Finally, regarding your request for The most up to date map that reflects
this data, we will unfortunately have to decline this request under
section 17(e) of the LGOIMA (1987) – the information requested does not
exist or could not be found. Council does not have a map of the Resident
Associations and has never created one.

 

You have the right to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review our
decision. Complaints can be sent by email to

Publication of responses to LGOIMA requests

Please note: our LGOIMA responses may be published on the Christchurch
City Council website a month after they have been responded to, with
requesters’ personal details withheld. If you have any concerns about
