Dear OIA_Requests (MSD),
Thank you for this, however question 1 and 2 also requested Ohakune as a specific region, are you able to provide the same data broken down for Ohakune specifically so we can see how it is affected for a small tourist town with seasonal work compared to the region.
Many thanks
Yours sincerely,
Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents' Society Inc

Tçnâ koutou Ohakune Ratepayers and Residents' Society Inc,
Thank you for your email below. In regard to parts one and two of your request for information which states: 'We request the data for Ruapehu as a whole and if possible for Ohakune and raetihi individually'
The Ministry of Social Development (the Ministry) interpreted the first two parts of your request to be, only if the Ministry can provide the information for Ohakune and Raetihi we would do so.
However, the Ministry cannot provide information for Ohakune and Raetihi specifically because Ohakune and Raetihi do not have a Work and Income site. Their residents are serviced at a satellite site, which falls in a different district. The Ministry is unable to break down the data any further than at a wider area of Taihape.
If you are interested in receiving this information, we invite you to submit another request for this information.
