I request the following information relating to this:

1: All documentation of the design and methodology of the trial.

2: Were the staff designing, conducting and analysing the results of the trial Council Staff, Contractors, or Temporary staff?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I refer to your question below.

1: All documentation of the design and methodology of the trial.

The key documentation is attached in the memo and attachments.

2: Were the staff designing, conducting and analysing the results of the
trial Council Staff, Contractors, or Temporary staff?

As above re staff monitoring and QTP were engaged to undertake the
monitoring and analysis and their final report is attached to the memo.

3: The full costs of the trial, including salaries.

Costs associated with the two week lane closure trial on Hagley Avenue and
Riccarton Road to assess the traffic impacts approximately $23k for:

Costs for establishing + disestablishing site, 14 days (2 weeks) of site
checks as well as the TMP submission (including GST) .

QTP monitoring and preparation of report.

These costs do not include staff time as we do not record these hours
separately.

You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of
this decision. Information about how to make a complaint is available at
