Dear Christchurch City Council,
The Christchurch City Council website 'Newsline' reports on 24 Jan 2024 that:
"A lane drop trial around Christchurch Hospital showed the potential for increased delays to traffic flow particularly during peak evening hours.
The trial ran at the end of last year to test the feasibility of permanently removing a lane of traffic to increase on-street parking on parts of Riccarton and Hagley Avenues at Hospital Corner. "
I request the following information relating to this:
1: All documentation of the design and methodology of the trial.
2: Were the staff designing, conducting and analysing the results of the trial Council Staff, Contractors, or Temporary staff?
3: The full costs of the trial, including salaries.
Yours faithfully,
G A Findlay
