From: L Kim
Dear University of Auckland,
My inquiry is with regard to the graduate category and special categories (MAPAS, RRAS, SWD, SWRB, LSEB) admission into MBChB programme.
1. How much weight does UCAT, MMI scores, and GPA have when assessing for the admission to MBChB?
2. What is the mean, median, lower and upper quartile, minimum score of UCAT, MMI scores, and GPA respectively who were successful applicants into 2020-2024 MBChB programme for the general and special category among Graduates?
3. When an applicant in the graduate category have a double degree (graduated both degrees at the same time), how will the GPA be calculated? Will the GPA of the best out of the two degrees be considered, or both?
4. Are there requisite papers you need to complete before applying for the MBChB? If so, what are they? (Can you complete similar papers in other universities?)
If an applicant for MBChB programme have not completed those papers, could he/she complete the papers after being admitted into the MBChB programme?
Thank you for your time!
Yours faithfully,
L Kim
