Is an electricity meter (conveyance used to measure electricity consumption) part of the Electricity Act 1992 interpretation of "works"

Lee M. made this Official Information request to Minister of Energy and Resources

The request was successful.

From: Lee M.

Dear Minister of Energy and Resources,

Is an electricity meter (a conveyance used to measure electricity consumption) part of the Electricity Act 1992 interpretation of "works"? I ask this because the Electricity Act 1992 only mentions the words "electricity meter" once and that is in the context of the interpretation of "dwellinghouse".

If an electricity meter is not part of the Electricity Act 1992 interpretation of "works" then how is it defined in the Electricity Act 1992, and, under what Section of the aforementioned Act can I read the interpretation of "electricity meter"?

Yours faithfully,

Lee M.
